A note from the Founder

Thank you for choosing Bamboo Bum and joining us on a journey to make a meaningful impact. Bamboo Bum was born out of a deep concern for our planet - specifically, the growing issue of landfill waste, where I discovered that traditional disposable nappies are one of the single largest contributors as they do not decompose.

Driven by a passion for all things natural, sustainable, high-quality, and using my design skills as an Architect, I was inspired to create a nappy that’s as gentle on your baby’s skin as it is on the environment. I spent two years developing Bamboo Bum in Cape Town, with every detail crafted to support the well-being of your baby in conjunction with reducing waste.

Made from organic bamboo, our nappies are naturally hypoallergenic, soft, and sustainably sourced, giving parents peace of mind that they are making a healthier choice for their little one and the environment.

Today, I’m thrilled to see over 60,000 happy, healthy bums in our Bamboo Bum family. Thank you for being a part of this mission and participating in sustaining a cleaner, greener future.
